Our Services
Abie Cares 4u provides non-medical home care in the comfort of your home where we assist with daily living task. We offer assistance with personal care, medication reminders, medical appointment reminder, transportation scheduling if eligible and light housekeeping. We are a team with compassion and experience, we know first-hand how important care for yourself, or your loved one means to you, let our team of aide’s care4u and your loved one too!

Abie Cares 4u LLC provides services across Butler County, Hamilton County and Montgomery County. We accept clients ages 18 and up who are eligible for our services currently as private pay only. We provide caregiver relief/respite for individuals of all ages to support caregiver burn-out, this is also currently private pay We also partner with the Council of Aging Passport program for clients 60 years of age and up with Medicaid. WE offer services in the privacy of your own home that is authorized in a person-centered services plan:
Personal Care
(a) Assisting the individual with managing the home, handling personal affairs, and providing
(b) Medication reminders
(c) Assisting the individual with ADLs and IADLs.
(d) Providing an errand outside of the presence of the individual that is needed by the individual to maintain the individual's health and safety (e.g., picking up a prescription or groceries for the individual).
Homemaker
(a) Assistance with meal planning.
(b) Meal preparation, grocery purchase planning, and assisting individuals with shopping and other errands.
(c) Laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and putting away laundry in the individual's home and washing and drying at a laundromat if the individual does not have a working washer and dryer.
(d) House cleaning including dusting furniture (within reason), sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors; kitchen care including dishes, appliances (within reason), and counters; bathroom care; emptying and cleaning bedside commodes; changing bed linens; washing inside windows within reach from the floor(within reason); and removing trash.
(e) Errands outside of the presence of the individual which are needed by the individual to maintain the individual's health and safety (e.g., picking up a prescription or groceries for the individual).
(f) Acting as a travel attendant for individuals.
Community Integration
(a) Reminding an individual to take their medications;
(b) Contacting individuals at times no other in-home services are being provided to confirm the individual is functioning safely in their home;
(c) Assisting with banking;
(d) Organizing and coordinating health records;
(e) Assisting with applications for public programs including homestead exemption, the home energy assistance program, and subsidized housing;
(f) Monitoring and replenishing needed groceries (does not include cost of groceries);
(g) Assisting with business and personal correspondence;
(h) Accompanying an individual to their medical and other appointments; and
( i) Accompanying an individual on their errands and to other activities in the community.
Community support coaching
(a) How to manage finances;
(b) How to manage an individual's own health and wellness;
(c) How to identify and access community and legal resources, and leisure, educational, and recreational activities;
(d) How to find a job;
(e) How to manage an individual's own home;
(f) How to navigate community-based transportation systems; and
(g) How to build interpersonal, social, and communication skills.
